Well since its sorta on topic I think I'll vent about my current situation with the opposite sex.
I work with all females and one other guy, every single one of them is in a long term relationship and they all seem completely mesmerized about my situation with girls. Whenever any of them get the chance I get questioned about what I find attractive and my experiences in the past etc. They all seem to act like they've never met a 21 year old who hasn't ever been involved in a longterm relationship. It's kinda awkward/embarrassing but a little bit fun.

....every single one of them is in a long term relationship.....

Did he try to win her heart by standing outside her window with a boombox playing Sleepytime Gorilla Museum's "1997"?

Hey guys,

I have a pretty odd situation.  I'm 18, never really had a decent relationship.  This year, I've been talking to this girl whom I work with, but haven't gotten the courage to flat out ask her out.  We've been out for coffee once and try and make plans to do so again (tonight, actually, though I missed her call back).

Her friends have also asked me privately if I l like this girl, but I didn't really give an answer.

My issue is that I dunno if she's in to me.  The cards are usually stacked against me, as I have terrible luck with women of all sorts, but this one seems pretty safe.

I'm just nervous as to being rejected because the last few relationships were either supremely f**ked up or never got off the ground.

I actually have no idea why I wrote this, probably just bummed that I missed the call.

18 is an awful age for girls man, to be blunt.  But, i say always be forward with people, and dont get in a relationship because they suck, and it will ruin your life...especially at 18

Just get with her and have fun, ask her if shes down for some sexual experimentation and if she is then damn ur in for some fun times, good luck

Good philosophy, I think. A lot of my friends are trying to get with girls. It actually fun/funny to watch them grovel and follow them around like trained pets. Me, I could care less, but not much less.

Just ask her if she likes you.  I was in a somewhat similar situation recently and I waited too long, so nothing happened.  Looking back, I regret it, but it really isn't that big of a deal.
