I've said it before, I too am amazed at how young many of the members are (and how knowledgeable about music everyone is). Methinks the future of prog is in good hands. Big smile

Trust me, I'll keep prog in good hands. As a matter of fact, I am trying to get out of the band I am in right now (its kinda metal-ish) and I am already writing my own music. Myspace page has been set-up, just need to start recording some stuff.

(sorry, me and my friend have this tremendous inside joke on how Bud Light is found everywhere in commercials, and etc. and you can't go anywhere without seeing an ad for it)

not to mention it's a terrible beer!

back from the dead, i will begin posting reviews again and musing through the forums

It's the same indoctrination as with MacDonalds, they bombard your brain with their "feel happy, be happy with .." advertisements, it's a gift of our capitalistic society.

By the way, I am not proud on Dutch beer giant Heineken Unhappy ...

Can we get an update on the scores?  In the two weeks before the Superbowl, I got nothing to follow except this!

Yup, I am frequently amazed at how much knowledge some of our young members have. I did not possess a quarter of it when I was 19. Mind you I did not have an older brother or the Web to help out.

And I am happy of not having kids either. They have a way of taking all of your free/leisure time. I have seen friends changing their hobbies in different profiles from music and movies to ... kids....ConfusedOuchWink

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

Yes, Internet changed a lot of things. Back in 1993 when i begun to get heavily into prog, we only had prog books and "Muséa" postmail order shop to discover bands.

C'mon Sean Trane!   Pull it out!

It would be so awesome if you hit 2000 before anyone else hit 1000.

It seems Sean has done more reviews since Zappa88 posted the number of reviews.

Let's add an option to the poll: neither of the above will reach indicated goals before Ben reaches 5000 forum posts. Wink

"A complete ousider"

Calm down, I'll have to write 953 reviews in the next few days... If I write 100 a day, I can catch up in 9.

Otherwise, if I somehow manage to screw this brilliant oportunity I have, I think S.T will reach the 2000.
