I see the dilemma. You don't have to.

You can be the one in the Chewbacca costume, no band is complete without chewy.

I have an idea. I should have a set up like Geddy Lee so I can play mini moog pedals, reach the keyboards, and play bass.

I think I should go as a hippie, maybe. Or an astronaut.

I noticed that these group of people are way out there, man.

You’re right we HAVE to have a Hippie.

Folly can go as the HAL-9000 computer from 2001. I don’t know how its gonna work.

As for me, I’ll go as the coolest guy ever, George Lucas.

Sorry Whistler, but you're gonna have to be the closet queer

Now I have to let my hair grow more. Tongue

I could buy some hemp and get my brother to make a cool bracelet or something. I should also live up to the hippie name. Consequently I will be spending more time on weekends with a "special" friend.

I am also slightly Native American (I have higher cheek bones and don't get sunburnt too often). So that should be included into my hippie name.

Actually... I've got something even more far out...

I'll be a congressman from the U.S....

But not only that, to make it extra special...

I'll be a U.S. congressman who DOESN'T stash embezzled money in his freezer... those are rare these days...

Or I can just be HAL...

Maybe to the first question.  Next weekend to the second.  All depends on friendly computer access.
