Australia won the first test, but England did a good job today in the second test, I can't really say for sure what the outcome will be for this one...

We could write a concept album about the ferocious battle for the Ashes. And have duelling guitars somewherer in the middle.

Here, I borrowed this from the "50 Worst Artists" link in the thread of a similar name...

ARE YOU IN THE WORST BAND IN THE WORLD?
Take this simple multiple-choice quiz and save yourself some embarrassment!

1 How long is your drummer’s solo?
a) He doesn’t get one.
b) A couple minutes is all, and it’s very funky.
c) Which of our drummers are you talking about?
C. Seeing as how drummers are a funny situation with us...

2 What is the secret of your success?
a) Inspiration.
b) Perspiration.
c) Butchering old soul classics in a manner beloved by middle-aged housewives and the mentally unwell.

B. We haven't done anything to soul...yet...

3 How many times has your band’s lineup changed?
a) Never happened, dude. If anyone left, it just wouldn’t be the same.
b) A few. It’s so hard to find a good accordionist.
c) 1,179.

C. Although B is better phrased, I'm not going to lie.

4 The name of your band is…
a) A favorite phrase from a William S. Burroughs novel.
b) An action verb, followed by an even number.
c) Indistinguishable from that of an accounting firm.

C. By nature of closeness (who's William S. Burroughs? I know Edgar Rice Burroughs...)

5 What is your favorite subject matter for lyrics?
a) The pain of loving.
b) The joy of drinking.
c) Dragons. Or dungeons. But mostly dragons.
B. At least, we haven't done a good old dragon song. Yet. Guys, whatcha waiting for? Get down to business, we need to scramble enough bits to make at least a sidelong piece!

IF YOU ANSWERED…
Mostly a): Congratulations! You’re in a good band.
Mostly b): Commiserations! You’re in a not-very-good band.
Mostly c): What’s that sucking sound? Oh, it’s you.

ALRIGHT! We pass!

Okay, here are my thoughts...

First off, I'm a crappy singer. I added some flourish in the third part, but other than that, I gotta start channeling Greg Lake better.

Now, is there any way to get the pieces closer together? I mean, I'm not going to kill myself if there's not... In fact, if you can't do that, can you create some kind of cheezy synth bridge and/or annoying SFX bridge between the parts? That'd be cool.

Oh, and, is there any way to add anything of your own to it? My email explains the lot. I swear!

Great. Send it off, and if there's any way to add your backing (as I suggested, etc. etc.) please give it a try. Right. I'm going to bed.

I'm off to sleep now as I'm still tired from the 20 minutes sleep last night while in the tents, in the rain and wind...

Aussie! That was really cool. I would like to know what chords and key you are playing in if it is possible for you to tell me.

Excellent work! I'll hold onto that copy; it can be an acoustic cut of the song for some archive release our numerous fans will no doubt require from us some day...
