[QUOTE=The Whistler] Okay, two issues. First, we need to develop a style. A prog sub-genre, if you will. Have you heard of eco-rock, where you sing about the earth and all sorts of crap like that? I suggest we create our own subgenre, ego-rock. Our first song in this new style will be a take on Yes' "Don't Kill the Whale," only we'll rip the lyrics out of Dio's "Don't Talk to Strangers," thus getting: "Don't save the whales, for they are only there to make you cry."

The second part went, "Don't save the whales, for they are only there to make you die," but that part was considered too brutal for airwaves...also, I forgot the original lyrics, and that's just the first thing that came into my head. Which shows where my head is.

Odd-- I'm sure the line was 'Don't talk to rangers'.

I don't know, but I'll quit if it'll make things more interesting.

Whistler had a fist fight with Ronnie James Dio over a re-interpretation of his hit 'Don't Talk to Strangers'...wants to call it 'Don't Talk to Rangers' about a camping trip. You can understand the dispute.

Exactly.
Not to mention 'Rainbow in the Barf' and 'I Read at Night'.

Not too much progress has been made on the studio in the last couple of days. I still want to get the ARP going so at least one of our songs can have a ripping ARP solo. This is what the ARP looks like, only imagine it ran over by a truck.

Okay! We need someone from outside the band to create a thread in the "get the word out" section about us! Any suggestions?

Never mind, I found it...okay, two problems. First, WE started it. That can't happen. Second, we didn't put the myspace link up first. Where there's actual music. Well, it's kind of music.
Anyway, give my time to think before any similar moves...
