Topic: 15th Anniversary of Freddie Merury's death today Posted: November 24 2006 at 10:44 |
Queen was my first musical love when I was a child in the 80s and early 90s. I still listen to them from time to time. Freddie had one of the greatest voices in the history of popular music. I loved him (and still do!).
Strangely enough I can't recall the day of his death. I don't remember my feelings. It must have been a really sad day for me though.
What about you?

I DO remember my feelings...can't believe it has been 15 years! The world lost one of the all time great singers & showmen on that day! Thankfully his music will oive on! RIP Faruk Brusara (AKA Freddie Mercury).

Well, it seems that (almost) nobody cares. It's sad...

The BEST voice in rock and one of the best showmen out there!! He was a master, what a pity he died so young ...

Well, he was in his forties, which is young but so many rock stars die younger. I believe 27 is the age that a good deal of rock stars have died (Hendrix, Joplin, Cobain)
He was the greatest vocalist ever and his showmanship was rarely bettered.
