Queen was my first musical love when I was a child in the 80s and early 90s. I still listen to them from time to time. Freddie had one of the greatest voices in the history of popular music. I loved him (and still do!).
Strangely enough I can't recall the day of his death. I don't remember my feelings. It must have been a really sad day for me though. I DO remember my feelings...can't believe it has been 15 years! The world lost one of the all time great singers & showmen on that day! Thankfully his music will oive on! Well, he was in his forties, which is young but so many rock stars die younger. I believe 27 is the age that a good deal of rock stars have died (Hendrix, Joplin, Cobain)
He was the greatest vocalist ever and his showmanship was rarely bettered.
