And I could be Geddy Lee in disguise.    [/QUOTE]

You'd need one awfully big wig and one awfully big nose.

About the bassoon thing: Because they're rather hard to get hold of
(not too many wind instrument stores where I live) and I think they're
pretty expensive. I don't know where to take lessons either if I would
get hold of one.

But if my brother takes up clarinet again he's promised to teach me.

We most definitely need the sitar at least, even if bassoon is out of the question.

Yeah Phileas could be the next George Harrison.

I do have an electric guitar, and I could tune it like an electric sitar and try to play things on it. Is that OK with you?

This has become a wildly successful thread-- almost 1,000 posts...congratulations to Whist, Inpraise, Aussie, Phileas, Bast, progismylife, and all the M00dy N00bs at heart.

Yes, it is some Warhammer thing, conversion though, not a readily avaliable model. Actually think it's more than that, a completely custom made model. Anyways, I came across it on the web a couple of years ago and liked it, so I saved the pic.

Sh*te! It's true! I just checked... Who on earth put that there?!
According to Wikipedia, the wood block player is called Danny Heifetz,
but Allmusic.com also lists I Quit in the Disco Volante credits...

Is this true or is someone playing games with us? I'm scared, so I rejoin (I quit earlier).

Hey, I could be Jon Anderson...

Right, you're out of the band.

Wait, are you our manager/serial groupie killer? If you're not, I think you forgot to thank him.

Anyway, none of you deserve any thanks but me. This band would be dead if I left it! DEAD! At least, that's what I tell myself, so that I still think I have a purpose in life and don't kill myself from remembring how crappy the rest of my existance is. Etc.

Fine then! I'll replace you with my hamster, Fuzzums!

Hear that Fuzzums? You're gonna be a star!

Fuzzums? Why are there so many flies in your cage? You leave me another present?

...Fuzzums? Uh, you can move now...Fuzzums?

He's sleeping. Or something.

So...we've got a thing with the stuff. Uh, band logo. Yes. We have some songs. We have "band members." We need a group photo. WHY ISN'T THIS SINKING IN?!?

The 'Archives will never accept us as a real band until we have a photo. The utter lack of musical skill is nothing compared to that.

The w**kers over at Undead Walrus got group photos, but they're separated. To be the best, the most artsiest, we must do what no one else is doing, and, as cheaply as possibly, hack and slash a bunch of images of us into a single photo.

I'm also going to post this as a bulletin at Myspace. Someday. When I remember.

And you're just happy to be here.

Wait, am I in the band, or have I quit? And when did I hit my 1000th post?
