Our next album:  In the Land of Red and Green:

Golf Guy

"Oh dearie me,"
Said the wife in misery
"It seems that he's left me
For some golf to play
How will I
Ever spend my time
Now that he's no longer mine
This sad old Christmas day"

Somehow you'll manage
The best friend assures
Remaining quite demure
And if not, the carnage
That you will wreak
When he returns in a week
Will be quite the sight to see
Rubbing her hands with glee

And he happened upon a golf girl
Over on the course
And, feeling no remorse
He took her for his own
Never thinking to return home
So the wife, assuming he was dead
Killed her friend instead

Winter Time

It's winter time and all the boys
Have got to be good
After all, we told them they should
We lead by word
Not by example, nosirree
Because our example is one of hipocrisy

Listen up or you'll get a sack of coal
Says the woman having an affair
If you don't do as I say, you'll grow old
According to the Madonna there

It's winter time and all the boys
Have learned to hide misdeeds
Slinking along behind the house, misbehaving silently
And the parents don't care
They're good children to them
And they'll grow into corrupt men

BUT HEY
They say
Once they're over eighteen
They're no longer our responsibility

Mark 2: Mark Noobs

We are the moody noobs
Acting like a bunch of boobs
Mark 2:  Mark Noobs
Silly fools we all are
Composing in the bar
Mark 2: Mark Noobs

Australian's a sexy hunk
And Atavachron's a pimp
And all our ladies
Yeah, they all dress skimp
-ily

And we were good boys this year
We didn't have THAT many beers
Mark 2: Mark Noobs
And so we'll sign a contract
Hey, wikipedia, you got that?
Mark 2: Mark Noobs

In the Land of Red and Green

Hello everybody, it's July here today
And Christmas decorations just went up
The war's about to begin
Said the experts on sin
Said the religious right
In all their Godly might

It's the marketing craze
That lasts for just a few days
That's right, only half a year
But it's Christmas, and who wouldn't like that
Well, if you say you don't like it
Then I say you're fat

So hang up all your decorations
And make them nice and neat
And hopefully, if you're nice
You'll make them fatty and sweat
And altogether really nice
And good for me to eat

And remember, if you don't like that
Well, then, you're fat

Six Feet Underground

I ate too many sweets
And I got diabetes
Now I'm dead
Six feet underground
Oh wow, it's dark here
There's no light to be found
And I'm locked in a coffin
With no way to get to Heaven
It seems that I've sinned

My brother-in-law is making a uke right now from some wood he brought back from Hawaii. He makes all of my tube amps too.

Good, we've been needing a recording producer/engineer ever since Geck0 left (the sleaze).  Of course, we can always use some more uke players, and you've always been our favorite accordionist.  You're in.

Splendid-- we were going to use a guy named Herb that hangs out in front of the wash&dry place near me, but you sound much better. Of course, Herb knows Tom Waits' gardener, but I think it's worth the sacrifice.

That’s where Whistler’s black balaclavas and crow bars come into use.

WHAT?!? No TVs?!? I quit!

Oh, and, I have two (2) guitars--one steel stringed acoustic and one nylon/steel stringed classical (Spanish) guitar, a couple of ukes, a busted mandollin, a Yamaha recorder, and my voice, with it's Gabriel-esque abiliites...okay, maybe more Doug Ingle-esque. I dunno. Anyway, I also have no way (other than my crappy phone) to get sounds into the computer so far. However, a mechanism to do this exists, but it's also seventy dollars. So I'm going to shop around for a bit...

Hey, 'Balaclava', now that's a great name for a concept album; the Balaclava Tour, 2007. Would look great on T-shirts!
