Haha, with Folly out I can enjoy every future cake alone, without having to share. More cake means I'm back in!

sometime next week I'll be getting my (wife's) accordion back from on loan and I'll have a pic ready for any band bio, Only then will I rejoin. I'm hoping our myspace page picks up some more friends along the way.

I can't look at myspace from schoolCry, so I haven't been able to keep track of updates lately.

Who are our friends (other than Tom)?

My Assessment of the Current State of the Band:

Feeder Fish

Cleaning up what little is left behind

From the mouths of the bigger fish

Feasting on the remains

Of their grander dish

There’s still room to rise

Even in the shadow

Of the ones on whom you rely

Someday, even they’ve got to go

Surely then, you say, you’ll shine

But there always have to be some little fish

For the big to prey upon

And if you grow bigger as you say you’d like

All your food, you’ll find, is gone

The bigger fish are your only friends

But beware, lest they turn and bite

It must be hard relying on the corrupt

While still trying to stay in the right

Yet still you hang around those massive jaws

Looking for the shelter they sometimes provide

But when the meal is done

Why should they keep you on their side

There’s no advantage in a little fish

Other than some late afternoon snack

Yet you remain at the shark’s side

God only knows what for

Nibbling away at your own hopes for a future

Have they made any comments about how cool we are, and who are they anyway (so I can write songs about them, of course).

URGH!!! Myspace sucks! They REFUSE to take any of our pictures, or the completey watered down version of CRAP! My mobile can't send messages with audio files that are over 20 seconds, so my 20 minute masterpiece was both circumsized and circumvented!

Which 20 minute masterpiece? Why haven't I written lyrics for this? I quit.

You don't remember my sidelong epic CRAP!? It went like this:

G chord, D chord, Em chord, C chord, mistake, "CRAP!"

repeat for 20 minutes. Doesn't matter though, unless you know how to convert music files...

You must really want us to know about that sig, double posting like that. That's too pushy for me; I'm out.

Okay, okay, I've looked
at this haphazard mess too many times and I need to put my input in:

PROGRAMS YOU NEED:

AUDACITY- GOOD FOR RECORDING, LAYERING, EDITING, ETC.  has better quality than sound recorder

HAMMERHEAD DRUM PROGRAM- unless you all have a drummer, of course, but it's simple to program, even weird time signatures (it just has to line up w/ a certain number of measures)

that's all for now, and BTW, both programs are free

More misprints to report; we now have been billed as the Doody Fumes, the Nerdy Jews, and strangely, Herb Wallace and the L-Street Boys.

The Nerdy Jews? That's actually a band I started back in '63. Never quite caught on...
