Lucky. Girls don't approach me. I'm sort of taboo (girls don't tend to like the strange guys).

That's where you're wrong. My boyfriend is quite strange, actually. (OK, we both like prog; we're both strange.)

She said (sincerely) we could be friends, and she never really said no, either (though she implied it). I'm not gonna get worked over it - rejection creates experience. Plus, she could think it over...
That's something I guessLOL

Better luck next time, perhaps she will come around... just do what Whistler suggested, play air-flute to her.Wink

I have no trouble talking to girls, I just never find anyone worth talking to. I hope no one takes that the wrong wayOuch

Obviously, the quickest way to a girl's heart is to right a concept album for/about her. If she's not completly freaked out, she'll realize just how awesome and shamelously romantic you are

Well, maybe this is the spot where we should vent and not the VR.

Well, I can't say I have too much to complain about, I talked to her for about an hour and a half today over AIM, and she didn't seem pissed off/afraid, which is always a good signEmbarrassed

Cool!!!

I asked Helen to run with me, but she sort of said no...
(Well, she said "I don't know" and that means no. Well, I didn't want to pressure her... Magma...

Oh well!

Hell, she's more shy around me than I am around her. It's amazing when all the pressure just goes away when everyone knows you like a girl.

Well, everyone on my X-C is close, so everyone plays around with me (and they tease Helen). I even think her parents know (they never singled me out to say "hi" and they said it in a teasing tone). I find the whole thing cool. It eases a lot of pressure and takes away most of any pain.

Then again, I'm listening to Magma, so what do I know?

Well, does she get scared?

Wait, I can't give advice...

But I'll try!

Good Idea if you will cling to you.

Bad Idea if she hates scary movies.

bad Idea if you get scared and she doesn't.
