Sorry it didn't work out my friend.  

It's been kind of a weird situation for me... I've dated a lot, and got married, and yet I've never asked asked a girl out or initiated a relationship.  I never even proposed. 

I've always left it up to the girls to ask me out.  If I was interested (romantically), I didn't express it.  Some girls respond well to guys who don't show romantic interest in them.  One makes them interested in subtle ways.  I hung out with girls and listened to them without letting desire affect me.  When you're not making yourself that available it makes women want you more.  We always want what is hard to obtain.

Have you seen the Tao of Steve?  Now I was married before it came out, but that sums up my approach to women.

The key to making yourself desirable is by eliminating desire.

I talked to girls, listened for their interests, engaged them in it.  If they liked doing something, (say hiking) then I have suggested that we should head out on a hike together in a not that interested sort of way (usually they were the ones to suggest it).  Sometimes it took manipulative nudges to get them to suggest that we be more than friends.
