Preferrably nothing, except some salt. BBQ sauce or Tabasco are common choices when I feel like eating them with sauce.

Oh, I use to be a french fries maniac! Nowadays I've eased up heavily. So let's see: - lots, lost, lost of salt!!!
- ketchup
- mustard
- parmezan
- dip
- sauce(s)

Ketchup, but Ranch and BBQ sauce works. Now that I think of it, spicy Ranch dressing would probably go great with French Fries.

Usually just salt but sometimes salt and vinegar. The sugar in ketchup just doesn't work on fries for me.

I like them fairly salted to begin with. Most times with ketchup, sometimes without. If you haven't tried french fried with a Wendy's frosty (don't hurl just yet) I suggest you do. It may sound odd, but it tastes great!

When my wife was pregnant with our first child she would take McD's french fries(they HAD to be from McD),and would dump them all into a hot fudge sundae and eat the whole big mess.
That was her big craving,it really used to gross me out.

But that's a sundae....
Seriously, next time you're at Wendy's just try it. The combination doesn't have a very distinct taste, but I find the contrast in temperature and salt/sugar great!
And I haven't eaten at McD's in a loooong time (except for maybe breakfast. Love their has browns). I really think they're disgusting for the most part.
