We use them here as part of a chicken recipe. "Pollo arvejado". A mild fried onion / carrots base, then the chicken pieces until they turn a bit rusted, a bit of red wine, a bit of water, sault, as many green peas as you like. When ready and served, you add the "french" fries, cuted in little cubes.
Northern people of this country eat them with mayonese.
Ther is another recipe, from the center of the country, called "Chorrillana". A lot of fried onion with egg, plus cubes of fried cow meat, saussages, and an equal amount of fries.

ranch, but only when i eat at wendys or burger king, otherwise ketchup. its just i prefer ranch when its available
