I am generally weird, posting five weirdnesses would cause misinterpretation, so I'd rather people think I am totally normal and stuff.

LOL

It's actually by Ray Stanley, but Como released it in 1956 Geek

I'm in love with a dolly named, Glendora
She works in the window of a big department stor-a
Eyes of blue, hair like gold
Never been young, but she'll never get old
Oh, Glendora
I wanna see more of you

O' Glendora, O' Glendora
O' Glendora, I wanna see more of you

She's so shy that I don't know how I found her
With three big body guards always workin' around her
One just nods, an' two just grins
An' three got a mouth full of safety pins
O' Glendora, I wanna see more of you
(You, more of you)

(O' Glendora, O' Glendora)
(O' Glendora, I wanna see more of you)
(More of you)

[Instrumental Interlude]

I stand left an' I stand right
Outta my head 'cause I'm outta sight
O' Glendora, I wanna see more of you

Late last night at the store they did some changin'
An' I stood watchin' when they started re-arrangin'
She lost her wig, she lost her arms
An' when they got through she lost all of her charms
O' Glendora, what did they do to you

(What they do, what they do, what they do)
(O' Glendora, O' Glendora)
(O' Glendora, what did they do to you)

(What they do, what they do, what they do)
(O' Glendora, O' Glendora)
(O' Glendora, what did they do to you)

(Do to you, oh, what did they do to you)
O' Glendora, what did they do to you

Wink

Haven't heard that one - the usual one where I went to school went:

I'll never forget
The smell of the sweat
From under your aaaaarmpits

I guess I should I have it looked at. 3) I had my first grey hairs at 18. 4)I have a phobia of moths. 5) I am 37 years old and I'm still not married, and I dont hold a full driving license.

after reading this and another post, I have come to realise you are Adrian Monk, the great detective...

i love bugs. I used to own two tarantulas (Millie and Stacia) and I'm the sort that everyone calls to remove spiders, bees, beetles and such. one memory someone had of me in the seniors issue of the high school newspaper in '86 was that i was the one with a green worm in class one day (i was removing it). i love bats, too. awesome creatures. they are all over the place down here now...

Bats I can cope with. I've managed to convince myself that their sonar means they will never fly into me...

We get lots of little bats flying above the trees outside my house this time of year.

Bats are good like that. They never fly into you. Turkeys, on the other hand...

Let's just say that I see hunting shows every so often where some guy dressed in camouflage and toting several plastic turkey decoys is whispering about hunting these birds-like they are such elusive creatures. I know for a fact that, to really get a turkey, just drive down a road in a white Suzuki SUV at 50 mph while blasting Emperor out the window...little buggers will just FLY to you...

1. I don't drive, as a matter of fact I've never even held a driving license (hello, Blacksword and Crimson Thing)
2. I speak four languages excluding Italian, one of whom is Finnish
3. My left hand and foot are larger than my right
4. You should see me peel an apple (I do it differently from most other people)
5. I hate so-called 'women's' music, and have always been into rock

Probably not very weird, but I do have a penchant for getting myself in some weird situations in my personal life!Wink

How can one peel an apple differently? Perform an interdimensional transformation on it so that the peel ends up on the inside? Or do you hold it in one foot & peel it with the other?? I'm intrigued & baffled....Confused

No, nothing of the sort...Wink It's just that I seem to do it in a strange way in comparison to other people, or at least so my father used to remark. All in all, though, it's not that incredibly weird... Probably I have much weirder things about myself that I either forgot to mention, or would simply rather not!LOL
