This is where we find out just how creepy other PA members happen to be. Be forewarned-you will find some spooky or disturbing things-like these: 1. my left pinky finger has no feeling
2. I have had photographs and articles in a magazine called Weird NJ
3. I have a collection of skulls
4. There is a photo of Samoth of Emperor/Zyklon infamy hanging on my wall-it is the same image on my avatar:Samoth covered in blood, slime and concrete dust with his hands on his head and wearing a tshirt that says "God told me to kill you"
5. I injured my left knee-which still bothers me-when I lost balance navigating my then very messy room in the dark and putting my foot down on some black taper candles laying on the floor -------------

2. According to everyone I talk to, I act like a huge stoner, yet ive never taken drugs

Okay, I'm kinda improvving this, but here goes, they may not be that weird, who knows:
1. I make "music" with weird sound effects (see at http://www.myspace.com/doctor13 - www.myspace.com/doctor13 )
2.I've never gone out with, kissed, or even hugged a girl
3. I once performed a joke skit that consisted only of me saying "existentialism" and "I am bohemia" whilst my friends did strange body movements and finally we all dropped to the ground. It was in front of a bunch of 12 year olds and their parents.
4.I can fall asleep to almost any style of music, even Opeth
5. I cannot think of more, sorry that I have a lame, boring life -------------

1. I am interested in genealogy and have been tracing my family tree for a while now (not weird I know, just not what an average 26 year old Brit should be doing) 2. I have also had an interesting in The Luftwaffe in my time. I'm anti-war, so that's not the reason I'm interested in such things. The aircraft and the pilots were exceptional. 3. I have a Computing and Information Systems degree 4. I like some George Formby, Paul Robeson and one song by Perry Como 5. I once balanced a tray, a menu, 2 empty pint glasses and a wooden box, containing salt, pepper and other condiments, on my head for about 2 or 3 minutes without dropping any of it

1. I usually sleep for 14+ hours on a daily basis 2. I only know 2 people I would consider a friend and I haven't spoken to either for 3 weeks. 3. I am afraid of commitment, it was very hard to sign the lease on my apartment for instance. 4. I am a huge fan of both musicals and romantic movies. 5. This thread was made for me! Ok, maybe not  ... I can't really think of many "weird" things about myself. Rather, I have trouble pinning a solid identity on myself (thanks in large part to uneven and sometimes conflicting personality traits), and will often find myself seduced by the need to feel accepted into a certain identity (e.g. "I'm a proghead!") while having a need to question the status quo and set myself apart from the crowd. So it's more that I am enigmatic on the whole, instead of being essentially "weird".That's not to say there aren't any weird things at all... 1. I've survived both kidney cancer (as a baby) and kidney failure (at age 13). I am a kidney transplant recipient and have neither of my original kidneys left. I spent much of my youth in the hospital and being sick  2. I have a B.A. in Linguistics from the 3rd best school in the world (at least on the graduate level) for Linguistics—University of California, Santa Cruz. (person: "what's your major?" me: "Linguistics." person: "ohhh.... ....interesting." me: "yeah... um, do you know what Linguistics is?" person: "uh... no.") 3. I've played guitar for 6 or 7 years but I have seldom learned a song. 99% of the time I use it to try to write music or just jam around for recreation. 4. I'm very shy and introverted. I hate meeting new people and talking on the phone. I REALLY REALLY hate taking any kind of social initiative. Alas, I'm kind of a loner... 5. I'm a perfectionist. (Maybe that's not so weird per se, but it's all I can think of right now  )-------------

1) I had an ingrowing toenail removed when I was 15. The remaining nail is squared off like a Scrabble tile. 2) I have a small white lump on my right shoulder, which seems to be slowly getting bigger. I guess I should I have it looked at. 3) I had my first grey hairs at 18. 4)I have a phobia of moths. 5) I am 37 years old and I'm still not married, and I dont hold a full driving license. ------------- Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy! |

I wouldn't feel ashamed of that if I were you, your only 16, secondly the media puts a lot of pressure on kids your age TV shows, etc, your not lame, don't be ashamed with who you are, as long as you know who you are thats what matters, lame people are the ones that conform to society and fit the mould and have no sense of themselves.  ------------- |

Cute? Cuddly? No I cant see that.. I have many irrational fears, and things that fly, creep, crawl and buzz feature heavily in them. I came close to a panic attack when a Maybug landed on my window sill a few years back..

after reading this and another post, I have come to realise you are Adrian Monk, the great detective...
i love bugs. I used to own two tarantulas (Millie and Stacia) and I'm the sort that everyone calls to remove spiders, bees, beetles and such. one memory someone had of me in the seniors issue of the high school newspaper in '86 was that i was the one with a green worm in class one day (i was removing it). i love bats, too. awesome creatures. they are all over the place down here now... -------------

1. disjoined in all finger on my right hand (makes it easier for me to play guitar because my fingers can bend a odd angles) 2. Every thinks I’m older than I actually am. 3. I like almost all animals (except spiders) 4. My favorite subjects are History and English so when someone says to me "oh crap we have English next" I'll say "so?"
5. I'm also kind of a loner and get on better with people three times my age than people my own age which is not a bad thing because most people my age are morons. -------------

1. I'm fascinated by all kinds of wildlife - just as well, since our ramshackle house is crawling with bugs, and we've had blue tits nesting under the floorboards & a bat in the kitchen.... 2. I used to be a scientist but chucked it in to live a poor but happier life in the country.... 3. I also used to work in a tree nursery, and that's why my garden is full of rare & interesting trees (some of them still alive, even 4. Although I was very fit until a few years ago, I've now got some weird illness that prevents me walking even a few yards without pain...

I once got into bed... saw a baby bat lying against the wall and the quilt and I immediately leapt back out! I wasn't best pleased and when I put the light on, it started to fly around the bedroom, not good! Now I have a problem with bats. -------------

Let's just say that I see hunting shows every so often where some guy dressed in camouflage and toting several plastic turkey decoys is whispering about hunting these birds-like they are such elusive creatures. I know for a fact that, to really get a turkey, just drive down a road in a white Suzuki SUV at 50 mph while blasting Emperor out the window...little buggers will just FLY to you... -------------

My left hand and foot are larger than my right 4. You should see me peel an apple (I do it differently from most other people) 5. No, nothing of the sort... It's just that I seem to do it in a strange way in comparison to other people, or at least so my father used to remark. 1. I have had the exact same thing for breakfast for the last 39 days - 2 bananas and a glass of milk.
2. When I find myself on a lonely road I drive on the left hand side as if I were in England.
3. My favorite t.v. shows are all cartoons...Futurama, Family Guy, Venture Bros & the Simpsons.
4. I wear the same shirt every Friday.
5. I am the only one I know who likes Prog, which automatically makes me weird in my neck of the woods.

1. I sometimes watch TV with my head upside down (seriously!). I find it relaxing. 2. I may seem like a completely ordinary person at first (behaviour, clothes etc.), but when people really get to know me, they often tell me I'm downright weird. 3. I'm 19, and while most people my age drink alcohol on a very regular basis (at least here in Finland), I do it approx. once a year. I just don't need it. 4. I never eat breakfast - even when I'm hungry! (well, very rarely)5. I have an outstanding memory concerning things I'm interested in; music, books, movies - I only need to hear the name of an actor/musician once, and I'll remember it for months, but I can't get myself to remember anything that's actually useful. -------------

Music is very useful. But yeah, that's kind of like me. If there is a band I like, I can memorize their entire discography (well, unless they're really prolific) along with release years just by looking at it once. -------------

1. All of the bills in my wallet have to be facing the same way, right side up, and organized from the largest bill to the smallest, front to back. 2. I keep a nice rag in my pocket to open doors with in public places 3. I hate talking on the phone. 4. If I didn't make my bed one morning, I'll make it before get in to go to sleep at night. 5. Not to toot my own horn, but:
1. I like to take 3 hour+ walks by myself, especially at night, deliberately trying to scare myself
2. Sometimes I sit in a very conjumbled position, staring into space for long periods at a time (Sometimes drumming on some sort of surface, which I can never stop doing)
3. I think industrial wastelands are absolutely beautiful (actually almost anything could be beautiful to me)
4. I dream of engaging in sexual intercourse with a ghost (although having sex with a real person would be nice, too
)5. I like prog as well as the new Justin Timberlake single "Sexyback"

1.- I'm very into "serious" cinema (Fellini, etc.), but I never miss and episode of "Gilmore Girls".
2.- On the same track, I also end up watching every possible romantic movie. 3.- There are many albums that still haven't heard completely. I'm talking about albums that have been in my collection for more than 5 years. 4.- I hate working with male individuals. 5.- I wake up at 4:30 a.m. 2 or 3 times every week, with ideas for stories that I'm trying to edit right now. ------------- ¡Beware of the Bee! |

Ha, you've got me all wrong, I'm not one of those people obsessed with physical aspects of a relationship at all. It's just I've never even had a relationship in any remote form, and all of my friends have at least had short several day stints. I dunno, I just couldn't think of anything too weird, so that came to mind

1) I'm a student and only drink a couple of pints of expensive ale when I go out. 2) Listening to Prog automatically makes me weird according to my friends (who either listen to (c)rap, dance or indie *shudders*) 3) I once fell asleep listening to Van Der Graaf Generator, I still haven't recovered. 4) My Fashion sense is.... erm interesting (leather jacket, cargo trousers, longish curly hair, mustache) 5) I'm studying motorsport engineering (we're considered some of the strangest students within the engineering department) |

1) When I eat spaghettios I take off my shirt so I don't get a stain on it as I did once before I left to see Rush. 2) When I microwave something for a minute, I type in 60 seconds to the microwave. 3) I hate marinara sauce, but everytime I get motzerella sticks I dip one in in case they give me pizza sauce by accident. 4) When walking with a group of friends up or down stairs, I always have to walk in the back. 5) I take practice LSATS for fun when they're made available at my university. Hmm...I don't really know what's weird about me other than I like crazy prog muzak.
I guess:
1) I've never broken any bones, just one minor fracture that required a minor splint.
2) I introduced my friend to Kamelot and Dragonforce (not a good plan).
3) I am highly intrigued by the stock market and will probably put in a good $30,000 bucks in 10 yrs time, hopefully. Let it ride til I'm 50 for an early retirement.
 4) I enjoy studying history yet also keeping up with current technology

I'll have a stab at this ... though not sure if I can come up with five things... 1. have a crooked nose that I broke playing tennis (or was it a barfight) and never had set... 2. no secret but a professed love for some rather un-prog like music such as Streisand, Willie Nelson, and gasp... disco, new-wave, or some hair metal.... but especially old love songs from the 60's and 70's..those songs could really say what you really can't or are unable to say.. 3. have a Rickenbacker bass fetish... have owned many over the years... now currently own just two: Margaret.. a Fire Glow McCartney 4001 reissue (those pickups are worth the additional $1500 over a standard 4003) and Alexandra ( a 91 4003 who is currently being refinished to a custom color... forest glow.. a green sunburst). They are the joys of my life ahhahha 4. no surprise again... an aspiring comedian who bombed in his one moment in the spotlight... thank goodness I was too wasted to remember much of it 5. within a year or one semester of degrees in 3 different subjects yet I never finished... go figure... though I think I'm going to next year.. ready to do something different..... mostly, i am weird about my clothes... i only wear jeans.. i only have two pairs of them and never buy a new one until one or the other is completely unwearable... also, i only wear t-shirts with no prints on them, plain colour, i never owned sun glasses or camera... my desktop is plain blue, i hid the desktop items and the taskbar so that when you turn on my PC you think it can't boot... also, you need two passwords to log in... i have an excel file with all my collection of cds and mp3s, sth like an archive, chronologically, by the total of every band's/artist's releases and the frequency of total releases of each year... now, if you'll excuse me, i'll go wear my white jacket and go back to the big white house with pillows on the walls... |

I want to change number 3. 3. I like Microwaved Branflakes, with milk (heated with the Branflakes). Times vary, but the milk has to fill 3/4 of the bowls capacity (with the Branflakes inside), to enable to Branflakes and milk to heat up how I like them. Unfortunately it's quite hit and miss and sometimes the contents can explode, but if I keep an eye on it, it's fine mostly. It has to start bubbling and then continue bubbling until the milk goes into a wave affect... when it gets too near the top of the bowl for comfort it's ready. -------------

Seriously, I am not really going to post nearly this much during the school year, but what I meant by no opportunities is that in school, the only place I am able to have any contact with any girls, I already have a reputation of being a total weirdo, and my perpetuating that impression doesn't exactly help. Still, I'm reevaluating how much I even care about having a girlfriend these days. And trust me, I hang out with my friends a LOT. I just happen to be visting my father in Maryland for the month -------------

1. I love to dress totaly different every day.One day I look like a depressed teenage girl who loves black and blood, the next I look like I came right from Woodstock and the day after that I look like a classy rich woman. I kinda have 36 personalities
 2. I hate fighting. Yet one time, when I was 11, my best friend did something that got me incredibly angry and I attacked her and we fought and she ended up in the hospital. She didn't have any serious injuries, thank god. And I can't remember anything of that day or why I got so angry for some odd reason. 3. I got agoraphobia, wich causes me to go in shock at parties and festivals (I start shaking, crying and being very cold and feeling very bad) but it doesn't stop me from going out. For some odd reason I also get it in shops, on christmasparties at home and in places with alot of negative energy (like for instance one time I had it when I was watching a play and it was bad and the crowd didn't like it and started booing) 4. I love socks. I have loads and loads of socks. 5. I acted very weird on the Toolconcert, fainted when it was over, went in shock after that, and the whole time I kept saying that Maynard was God Hm..already got 5? And I didn't even tell you about the times I thought I was chased by demons or choosen to take over the world yet -------------
