Filet is hard to cook all the way through since it's so thick.

That's exactly why I never order Filet Mignon in restaurants anymore. The quality of the steak is just so random, I can't trust I'm getting a good steak.
NY Strip is definately my favorite.

Exactly. I had the good fortune of eating at a respecatable Italian restaurant, ordered the filet mignon, and had to return it twice because the first time it was albmost ice cold in the center.
I'd say a tie between:
NY Strip
Sirloin
Porterhouse
Ribeye
T-Bone

Medium Rare Porter House is the best in my experiance. T-bone and Scotch Fillet are also worthy of a mention.

I do eat meat, but I have no idea what's the difference between these steaks. They all look the same to me.

Tenderness, mostly. The higher up toward the back of the cow (except the hips), the more tender it is. The T-bone does have a big T in it, though.

^O God I can't stand A-1, or any steak sauce, or anything being put on a steak.
I like a nice piece of rare Prime Rib in all its natural glory.
