I love beer and red wine,but not during the same session. I actually prefer to drink wine in the house and beer in the pub. The only time I mix the two is if I go for a curry. I love a strong Cab Sauv with a Madras,but a few strong lagers for afters. My beer of choice is Theakstons Old Peculiar. I must also admit that in North West England it is socially "unacceptable" for a bloke to drink wine in a pub--well in the pubs I frequent,it is.....
