Some people reckon that Floyd will reform for a few million dollars. Personally, I think that that's crap, but I then wondered: would people pay (let's say) $1000 each to see Syd and the rest of them rework a 1969 setlist? I rather think lots would. You could fill a big venue, if you were the promoter. And flog the TV rights, too.
In reality, Syd and David aren't going to be ordered around, but I'm still left with the hypothetical question of just how much I'd pay out for a dream rock ticket...

If the 1977 Camel Lineup of Latimer, Bardens, Ward, Sinclair, and Collins got back together and were playing material from Rain Dances, The Snow Goose, and Moonmadness, I'd probably pay $350 for a ticket. That would definately be a highlight of my life.

If Genesis ever reunited, I don't care where it was or how much it costs, I would be there. I would pay $750 for a ticket and whatever an airplane ticket costs from New York to Prague, or wherever I could find a ticket.

I would pay a lot of money only for the re union of Genesis...not even for King Crimson (which is my fav band) would I pay that much...well, maybe for the ITCOTCK line up reunion...

MattNYR is right about a Genesis Reunion, but I would like to keep them clear of the Lamb Lies Down in Broadway and maybe to focus them in their previous albums. I would pay a stiff price to see them.

There´s a book called "The Time Travellers Wife" about a man always travelling back in time and constantly visiting himself in the past. And of course He was always at the punk concerts he liked much in his youth. The Buzzcocks, Iggy Pop, Television. Wouldn´t it be nice to have such power and to see a young Gabriel era Genesis concert?

id pay a lot for a pink floyd reunion...whatever line up....but id prefer a stripped down version pre wall....and i believe id pay a good sum of money for the ramones....i never got to see them :( oh man...what i wouldnt pay to see miles davis though!!!

Well see the thing is a revival isn`t like catching them in their prime , I mean there's a synergy often lost when bands try and do these things ... I tell you what I`d rather a time machine to take me back to the 70`s .. now that would be the answer

Well, this is a pretty hard question.
I'm not that much into prog (yet), so don't want to pay extensive amounts for bands like Pink Floyd from one era or another.
When there would be a festival with, say, 10 bands I totally love, I
would pay a price well above normal fee's. That's like € 300-400.
And for a student like me, that's a lot of money!

I would pay almost anything to see a Syd-era and an early Floyd concert. Of course, I would have to go back in time because I don't want to see them now; they're old :P
