I voted for top 20, but in actuality I would like to keep the top 100.
Although, I would like to keep that top 20 thread going. As Firepuck stated in the Top 20 thread, I had found some holes in my collection as well. Now it's up to Mike to decide if he wants to update the Top 20 thread every so often (I believe it won't change to drastically). I hope this is a good suggestion. |

Let's not rush this! I'll be perfectly happy to make this list available on a separate page. And why not indeed show both lists on the front page? Something like top 50 albums + top 10 artists from each genre. |

I voted for the current top 100, but now that I think about it, the top 20 by genre does seem a bit more informative and has both Kate Bush and Tangerine Dream in the top 3, so I guess it would be nice to have both lists on the front page.

the top 100 list can confuse newbies. for example, if I love on album and its position is 30th, I'd think that the 29 albums that are above my fav are at least as good as it, but the mix of subgenres can led a symph prog listener that dislikes heavy meta lto judge Opeth a nice try. the subdivision puts the things clear.
