agreed as faras the 80's are concerned my vote would be from TB&TB or Crest of Knave. |

I agree with you about This Was and Catfish Risin'. Can't say about Dot Com though as that's the only Tull album I haven't heard yet. Crest of a Knave is a great album IMO. I'm not keen on Under Wraps, War Child or Too Old To Rock 'n' Roll. |

Crest of a Knave is very good, indeed. It's not one of my Tull's favourites...even if the first four tracks and Budapest are all excellent! I prefer, I repeat, underrated albums as "A", "Stormwatch" and "Rock Island" (which is far better than Crest!) By the way, me I'm a great fan of all Tull's albums and also bought the Ian Anderson's discography (stunning !) plus Stage Left by Martin "Lancelot" Barre. I'm pleased to listen to Under Wraps sometimes. Always considered it very interesting and never boring! (the opener track "Lap of Luxury" apart! Edited by Andrea Cortese |

Against many opinions, I really love the 80's JT albums... My vote goes for "A", specially because I love tyhe work of Eddie Jobson on keyboards...

Any prog fan should be voting for A ;). As for best 90s album, I can't go past Dotcom and I think you can make a better 10 song album from the full Catfish session than Roots to Branches ;). Here is a Budapest with a a better drum sound ;) http://raylomus.com/Crest_of_a_Knave1987/BUDAPESTfullversion .mp3 Edited by gentletull |
