DRAMA
But I don't think Drama is marginalized. Everyone seems to like it. Great album.

the new one (whatever its called) a.k.a. "Magnification" has been overlooked...a shame for those who have overlooked it, actually.
(Should an album released in October, 2001 really be referred to as "new"?) ![](smileys/smiley2.gif)

The original (and very creepy) cover of THE STEVE HOWE ALBUM...hint...look in the water...

Then you seem to have a problem if those little ditties impressed you most on what was a very good Yes album and could have been great if Steve had been allowed more scope.Magnification was easily their best offering since Tormato.

90125 is a great album sadly understimated on this list
Fragile is also sadly underestimated , I believe it is in the top 5 of all time , better than CTTE . I think people have become overly familiar with it and therefore have become a bit contemptuos. But when it came out it was a real milestone in the public's acceptance of prog

"Drama" is usuelly marginalized by prog-fans. I think that this album is much better than "Tormato" or "90125" and shouldn't be so low rated like their.
P.S.Sadly "Time and a word" is often marginalized too.

couldn't agree more about 90125 but I could swear you have Fragile and
CttE backwards in that second half. The only contemptuous posts
I've noticed recently involve CTTE. ![](smileys/smiley2.gif)
Fragile is a great album... one of the many great albums they did
during the course of the 70's, but find me another group... another
album who has the ENTIRETY of their album still on their playlists and
requested to play... 35 years later. You obviously don't think
highly of it.... many many many more people do

my second choice... there are a fair amount of people running around
that recognize that album for what it is... a 'latter day'
masterpiece. 90125 is vilified by many... quite unfairly I may
add. It's a great damn album.. it's not Close to the Edge but hey...
change/progression is good.. isn't it.

For a pop rock album 90125 is good. I went through a phase of listening to nothing but classical music and jazz. It was basically on all the time. I simply lost interest in all other music, especially rock pop music.
So, it's difficult for me to really get into YES's work after Drama. I think that's why I love Tales so much. It's just such a beautiful work of music to me. Key Studio and Magnification also capture a lot of my attention. The one thing I can say is they stuck it out. With all the turmoil that went through that band. It's amazing they are still making music together. Also, their musical versatility is really unmatched in my opinion. Everything from pop songs to Tales. Few can say that.
