I only know Vangelis and Horizon's End. Whatever happend to Horizon's End? Are they still around? I've got the album Sculpture On Ice from -98, a pretty much Dream Theater copy in my ears. But good enough to hit the CD player now and then. Seems to me it's hard to find any home page of the band.

I know 3 Greek bands: Aphrodites Child (good early prog related music featuring Vangelis on keyboards), Akritas (a bit disappointing, I had more expected from this highly sought after music) and PLJ Band, my absolute favorite Greek band: wonderful blend of psychedelic, symphonic and folk featuring lots of soaring keyboards, twanging acoustic guitars and tasteful arranged compositions, SPLENDID! By the way, I love to go to Molivos on the island Lesbos (beautiful landscape and old city, delicious mousaka and Mythos beer..)! |
