I went with Yes mainily because they're more melodic and crimison just sound a too weird for my liking at times. I still do like some crimison though, I just like Yes a hell of a lot more!

I couldn't decide.  On one hand I love Epitaph, Starless, In the Wake of Poseidon, etc., but on the otherhand I love To Be Over, CTTE, And You And I, etc.

Yes. I just can't get into Crimson at all. I like melodic prog and Crimson aren't melodic very often.

Interesting how Yes always comes out on top in general polls like "Greatest Prog Band", but they are defeated by quite a bit in this poll.

I voted for KC. I do like a lot of Yes' work, however I find Crimson far more enjoyable on every level. In general, I prefer KC's moody dissonance over Yes's melodicism. That's not to say I don't love Crimson's more melodic moments, or Yes's more esoteric experiments. KC just combines pretty much everything I love about music in their sound, or they have over the years. The genius of Robert Fripp will NEVER cease to amaze me!

Sorry, I don't know why but I can't stand King Crimson...
But Yes is a band I like a lot. Good keyboard- and guitar-works by Rick Wakeman and Steve Howe. My respect!

ahhhh.... love both.

Edge to Yes on two counts...

Out of this world vocal harmonies, and Chris Squire's Rickenbacker.
