Some dodgy multiple voting going on here.
Trespass is a great album but The Yes Album wins for me.

I feel sorry for the poor idiot who wasted time playing with the poll, voting over and over, and screwing with the results.  You must really be a pathetic soul with too much time on your hands.

Multiple votes + people with way too much free time = dead poll.

Need I add another vote for The Yes Album?

Both albums are VERY VERY VERY GOOD.

But if there was one album that has really blown me away, it's The Yes Album.

I really believe this guy is a complete moron, because Yes Album was going to win anyway.

Trespass is a great album, I like it much more than any Yes release, but it's the first Prog effort of Genesis, while The Yes Album is the point where Yes reached the maturity and of course it's better developed.

Trespass is an underrated gem even for Genesi fans, so there wasno chance to win this poll.

This useless idiot tried to make sure that Yes won and only turned this poll in a joke.

not bothering to vote,  it was meaningless anyway but made ridiculous by the fact that someone would care enough about the vote total to manipulate it.  Anyway if I was to vote, it would be for the Yes Album... full of songs that 35 years later..still are classics... of prog.  Trespass.... blown away first time I heard The Knife.... 'is THIS Genesis'  hahahahah.  Really like Looking for Someone and Stagnation.  Prettty good album from a bunch of kids.   Then again I really like From Genesis to Revelation as well.

“The Yes album” seems to be exactly four times the

amount of votes that “Trespass” has (50 “Trespass”,

200 “The Yes album”) This is to be expected I guess.

Trespass is mostly notable for “The Knife” While “The

Yes album” contains many of the bands most famous

songs on it. “Trespass” is by no means bad but “The

Yes album” is just better.

I agree, The Yes album is more solid than Trespass (Despite I like Trespass more), but don't believe in polls, worst if multiple votes are allowed.

But IMO White Mountain is much better than The Knife

There's no way than 300 members would have voted in a poll.

If you want to see, look how Trespass gets 20 more votes in one minute

Iván

EDIT: Oops, I missed it was 30 votes for Trespass in one minute

The Yes Album for me.

Allowing multiple votes ruined this poll, though.

Well Yes is my favourite band, with Genesis as a #2. But here I have to say Trespass. It's an underrated album, and even if it is the start of Genesis and the line up is not yet complete I love it. Phillips guitar is great, and if it wasn't for his stagefright there is no way Hacket would have joined Genesis. Which of course would have been a sham :P

But back to topic, it's close but it's Trespass.

The Yes Album is not very close to the artistic peak of Yes (CTTE), but it is not nearly as far away as Trespass is from Genesis' artistic peak (Supper's Ready, Selling England..).

The Yes Album is also much better all around, therefore I vote for it.

By the way, can we ask the Administrator to check who the multiple voter is so we can all laugh at him? that would be great,

Thanks!

The Yes Album for me.  Trespass is good, but The Yes Album is absolutely fantastic!  One of my favorites by Yes.
