I voted Supper's Ready. I've just listened through CTTE once, and I can't say that I felt anything but disappointment, after seeing it ranked as the top symphonic prog album here at progarchives. I thought it would be better. Of course, it was good, and it will surely grow with some more listenings, but will it ever match Supper's Ready in my mind and heart? I don't think so. Supper's Ready is a ever changing tune, with lyrics with more layers than an onion, and a fantastic story behind thos lyrics as well. The only thing I dislike with it is that the studio version ends with a fadeout, but it's a good fadeout, to it's defence.

Supper's Ready, as sure as eggs is eggs.

Supper's ready is my favorite song of all time

In fact, Foxtrot and CTTE are my favorite albums of all time, but I think Supper's Ready has more harmony to it, more emotion. It's just a better composition IMO. And I think that And You And I is the best song off CTTE, not the title track. All are amazing, still

Close To The Edge for me.

I agree that Supper's Ready is NOT my favorite Genesis track, although it is very good. Let's go with Looking For Someone from Trespass, then The Musical Box, then Duke's Travels/Duke's End, then Supper'r Ready.

No doubt: Supper's ready. I've never considered CTTE to be the best Yessong anyway. I like both Roundabout, The Gates of Delirium and Starship Trooper better.

Now listening to XTC - Apple Venus Vol. 1, wonderful!!! A must for those who love a healthy mixture of pop and advanced rock

I've voted in one of these before, and Supper's Ready keeps getting
further ahead. Close to the Edge could have been about 12 minutes, and
Supper's Ready can't lose a minute.

The vocals have so much more urgency and passion in Supper's Ready.
