Topic: Favorite...symphonic band! Posted: November 17 2005 at 20:20 |
Well out of this 10, who is king? I have taken this 10 because they are the most famous of this genre...thought I didnt know if to put Oldfield instead of Focus...I hope I did a good job hehehe
By the way, its King Crimson for me!

I can't decide. Van der Graaf Generator and Gentle Giant are
probably tied for my favorite, but Yes, Genesis, King Crimson, and
Anlgagard are also very good.

Camel seems to be the most blues type on the list. They mix symphonic with blues just right and make fantastic albums. They are also the only band on that list who I would listen to each and every studio album and enjoy, some album a whole lot, and other some, but there is not one that I would not enjoy, as opposed to all the other bands listed.
CAMEL HAS MY VOTE!!!!

Probably Genesis (before Collins era), Yes, and maybe King Criminson. Haven't enough of KC to give you my opinion.

Selling England by the Pound is an album that cannot be beat, thus Gensis for me
But I love Yes and King Crimson as well.

I cant believe that people can actually decide who is 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd, etc... They are all such great bands its impossible to say who is the best... They are all at the top of the scale in terms of musicianship, I cant decide which one's the best though...
I voted for genesis though because Im listening to them atm.... selling england 4ever!!
