1.Queen- 3/5 (but it always grows on me...)

2.Queen II- 5/5 (masterpiece of prog, imo)

3.Sheer Heart Attack- 5/5 (masterpiece of heavy rock)

4.A Night At The Opera- 5/5 (one of the finest records in any genre)

5.A Day At The Races- 3/5- (patchy, but has its moments)

6.News Of The World- 4/5 (very underrated, one of their heaviest and most consistent)

7.Jazz- 3/5 (great in parts, weak in others)

8.The Game- 2.5/5 (this was where they lost their uniqueness by bringing the synths)

9.Flash Gordon- don't know this really

10.Hot Space- 2.5/5 (a largely failed experiment, but has some good tracks)

11.The Works- 2.5/5 (don't like the 80s production work, but some decent stadium rock)

12.A Kind Of Magic- 2.5/5 (half great stuff, half terrible..)

13.The Miracle- 3/5 (their best of the 80s- I really love the title track)

14.Innuendo- 3.5/5 (not their best, and arguably a bit too long, but their best since 'News...')

15.Made IN Heaven- don't know it

1.Queen Utterly brilliant debut 8/10

2.Queen II Masterpiece of Prog 10/10

3.Sheer Heart Attack Great album, diversity in style really showing through, but not quite up there with Queen II 9/10

4.A Night At The Opera Masterpiece II from Queen! Where it's good, it's better than Queen II, where it's not so good, it's a bit sucky, hence 9.5/10

5.A Day At The Races Not a patch on "ANATO", but has some great moments 6/10

6.News Of The World Since we're not rating in terms of how prog it is, 9/10.

7.Jazz Queen re-invent themselves as "musical prostitutes" (quote from Freddie in an interview). Fortunately, they were taking the mickey again. 7.5/10

8.The Game I like this album - it's very consistent, and shows Queen once again re-inventing themselves whilst simultaneously looking back to their roots. 7.5/10

9.Flash Gordon Not an album I get much pleasure out of listening to, and the film's a bit cheesey... 3/10

10.Hot Space A couple of stand out moments, but generally the sign of a band desparately trying the re-invention trick again. 2/10

11.The Works This is more like Queen! A bit market following rather than leading, so 6.5/10

12.A Kind Of Magic Generally quite nasty. I enjoyed the film "Highlander" very much, but felt it was spoiled a little bit by the horrible 1980s production on Queen's generally sub-par songwriting. Not quite as bad as Hot Space 3/10

13.The Miracle I pretty much gave up on Queen at this point, so haven't bought this one.

14.Innuendo I heard the title track in the charts and nearly fell off my chair in excitement! The rest of the album is pretty darn good too - apart from the title track and "The Show Must Go On", both of which are outstanding, especially when you consider what Freddie was going through. 8/10

15.Made IN Heaven Haven't got this.
