This is a response to Danbo's "show us your axe" thread - everyone wants to see peoples' guitars, but howsabout members keyboards...?
Here's my little beastie (an old and not very good piccie, but you get the drift)
1971 Hammond L122 with its faithful companion, a good old Leslie 145

I hate you both. 
My only keyboard (and it's not even my pic):
My only consolation is that it gives me access to any sound my PC can produce, which includes emulated versions of both of the above classics. So I'm still (but just barely) competitive.

PHILLISTINE!
Ahem - the Tardis on the right is a Leslie 145; home to a powerful valve amplifier, driving a 15" bass speaker facing downward into a rotating drum, and a treble driver facing upward into twin rotating horns, the speed of which is controlled by a switch on the Hammond.
Now go stand in the corner, you wind up merchant!

To be fair, the Leslie was in fact developed to alter the sound's apparent Time And Relative Dimesnions In Space.

Dont knock it, V - I've got a DJX1 myself (again, only £70 from Ebay); some of Yamaha's lower price keyboards are very well thought out, a joy to play (even for a novice like me), and with midi interface, you've got a Mellotron right there...

When I go off to uni I'll look at getting some free softsynths and plugging my keyboard into my PC. The bugger being the only PC that's mine is at minute completely devoid of anything...

I know how to use all the buttons with numbers and letters on 'em. I haven't figured out what the others are for. What's a Num Lock anyway?

Eek. I wasnt brave enough to admit i had a DJX. Bought as a midi controller keyboard but with more keys than a plain controller and a cheesy on board sound set as a bonus. Come On!!
