I hate when someone calls his guitar an axe, but hey, show me yours, I'll show you mine.

I've posted my strat, but here's my acoustic. It's a Monroe Morgan. Kinda ovation styled with the plastic bowl back. I bought it because the neck was similar to my strat and I can trade off and the feel is basically the same. The pic is my friend Fred and I after jammin' on some ELP tunes.

Here's the strat again.

Above is me playing my SG with my old band...61 reissue w/ maestro trem. Just like George Harrisons. And  also my electric guitars on my wall, notice 2 beatle guitars (epiphone casino and gibson sg...see the picture on the wall?)

My guitar isn't all that nice, but I get the most out of it.

This not the exact one, but the same model:

It's a lot better than my old one:

I used to cut loose with that all the time...

That's the one on my wall with the Fragile sticker on it. The exact same model. I could never reach the higher frets so I took a jigsaw to it and cut away a big lump of it. Better now

I recognized it. It isn't a Les Paul, but it gets the job done (especially through my effects processor).

I'm not trying to dis you, or anything, but the point of the thread is to show YOUR personal equipment, not some aged rock stars hugely expensive custom built guitar.  That stuff is all over the web and only results in jealous longings and idol worship.

Do you play?

If "YES," then post your guitar.

I bought my silverburst Gibson Flying V in January 1980 and I still love it, even though it's a bit OTT for most people. This picture is not my own guitar, but mine is exactly the same.

I never really liked Flying V's, the feel was off and it's hard to sit and play with them. But hey, to each his own I guess.

Wow, Beautiful guitars. I've always wanted a resonator. Sweet.

Thanks for letting us see your collection.

This is me with my trusted Ovation that I bought in NYC over 10 years ago. It has more knocks than a Tony Blair election campaign.

Only the G-fret on the E string height has a serious dent, rattling all my low G's.
Epic.

Mine is the left black one - my most loved guitar of all time. Its Gibson Les Paul Custom reissue 1968 Authentic model from Custom Shop

The middle one is all original friends 1974 Custom, great sounding guitar, little brighter than mine.

The right one is 1993 Custom, most modern sounding from these three. My least favourite. Does have non original white plastic parts.
