Also my 'beloved' home country of The Nether Wastedlands has a reputation of spawning artists giving new definitions to the term 'Unlistenable'.

Matti: Can't say anything about the other works of Chydenius, I didn't know "Kalliolle Kukkulalle" was even his song!

But Agit-Prop was part of the communistic movement of 60's-70's supported mostly by the students of that time. IMHO their equality of men stands for the equality of working class only, and the unjustice in the world is represented by the rich people. I can't accept this view, because I can't see any other difference between people which form the labour and bourgeoise, exept that the other people have money more than the other do. Basicly they are same kind of monsters both.

I connect that music with idealism less than you seem to do. I have no sympathies towards communism itself (even less towards right-wing!); I listen the music as only music. The pathos in it serves for the strong emotion in music. But honestly, they were singing generally for equality of people and against  unjustice all over the world. I don't think Stalin was anyone's hero - anyone's who KNEW anything, but what DID they know is another question. --- Anyway, I didn't mean only Agit-Prop, but also pure love songs ('Kalliolle kukkulalle, 'Sinua sinua rakastan' etc). Kaj Chydenius is a wonderful composer: he puts much more in 2-3 minutes than most 'schlager' songs have in 5 minutes. Of course you don't have to agree on a musical sense either.

If you say that her singing sucks you're either an idiot or just ignorant. Remember, I'm talking about her voice/singing and not about her attitude, the songs she sings or the general way of life which she is promoting.
