I drive a 2001 Honda Civic. I figured it would last me until at least 2040 ( )- those Hondas last forever!
And it's dark green.

I can't imagine all the money (and time is money) I could save by NOT owning a car. Insurance, (rising) gas payments, maintenance, etc. That's something I don't like about America. Seriously, if you don't own a car, you dont' do anything! Everything here is so spread out. The only places you could do that is if you lived downtown, and that doesn't work if you have a family. I liked Europe a lot better.

But I have my driver's license, so when I'm at my parents' place, sometimes I drive in my mum's RENAULT KANGOO.

a little bit more powerful than a bike) ... and a Proton Wira 1.3

but I'd take public transport if it was halfway decent in Malaysia ... and I didn't have kids to ferry around of course

Ok, here's mine As you can see it's a VW Golf III build in 1994...I think it's a good car although I'd really like to have the new Golf V GTI...
Unfotunately it's too expensive
