Every attempt I try to make to encourage intelligent reaction on this site fails with flying colours. My wife, who, after many years of hard work acquired a formal musical education thinks many of you people are basic idiots. haah i have to agree...this site is a little more than cheesy...but i like it for the exposure to bands id probably never hear of...so cudos to that...

I'd have to agree with you Ian. I'm new here so I have a fresh, "outsiders" perspective on his forum. The silly polls, this weird ELP thing that's everywhere, and the asinine reviews I've read here tempt me to post somewhere else. The only site left I know of that has decent daily traffic is Spock's Beard. I'm not a big SB fan so I don't have a lot of interest over there.

Any suggestions about where I can go?

Hey Garrett, if the pósts are stupid and the reviews are crap, why are you here?

I wouldn't stay in a forum for a decent daily traffic if I believed that traffic is crap. There are a lot of threads that I don't like or find offensive, I give my opinion and after that leave that thread.

Don't whine, try to make a better place, if after that you are frustrated, then leave, but 11 posts are not a serious attempt of making the place better.

Actually the ELP threads were the only interesting ones here.. and not because of my love for ELP.. cause evidently they weren't threads about peoples love for ELP... but because they atleast involved some discussion... Since then its been rather boring...

it's virtually impossoble to cut out all of the stupid polls and even if nyone leaves and joins another one they will always be there every single forum that i have been on has had stupid polls etc. IMO its good the way it is

You could have a poll on how to make the forum better.Wink

Or alternatively:

1. Stop humorous posts.
2. Make everyone agree.
3.Throw out any or all of the following people:

Reed Lover,Velvetclown,Gdub,Threefates,Frenchie,VB,Tuxon,Joren.

4.Stop posts about "sensitive" subjects.
5.Only allow opinions that acknowledge that some people here:

a) are from different cultures
b)have different theological viewpoints
c)have different genders
d)are emotionally immature
e)are religious maniacs
f)are obsessive fans
