Another vote for Zeuhl for their fans forcing their kids to sing (or drum) along with Dads records.

Looks like I forgot to vote. Well I'll vote for Progressive Electronic.

Please, think of the children! (and then don't vote against Zeuh justl because you suspect that they have a fanatical father/ fathers making them sing -- or drum -- along to this stuff) And no, none of these are my kids.  Though I've got my kids to burp along with me to Maahnt.

Don't want to but I'llcontinue to pile the votes on zeuhl because ill be sad if avant or electronic or post rock gets the boot

Its a joke (ish) I don't see what makes it distinctive as a genre. But, I haven't really made an effort to listen to much of it either so I shouldn't vote really - but it looks like this round is more or less complete anyway.

Symph was pretty much my favourite category in PA at a time before I joined, but I mostly stopped looking for music described primarily as Symphonic Prog., I do think that it's probably grown rather stale for various people, and when it comes to modern music, for me it's one of the weakest categories (not that I've sought out a lot of modern music from it since I've heard enough that I disliked, but some that I do really like like  Kotebel, Karda Esta, and Anglagard..

 I would also suspect, though, that some have voted for it strategically since it is a "big gun: and therefore perceived as a threat to people's particular favourites.  I did vote for Symph in the end -- Arachnoid as well as some other Frenchies are pretty damned good, though, as are symphish ones listed as RPI.
