AWESOME version of Yours Is No Disgrace... very good B&W of No Opportunity Necessary, No Experience Needed plus I've Seen All Good People. decent quality... great music. Taken from German T.V. appereances. Ivan has the call on the ELP DVD.. but psychedlic effects aside.... AWESOME!!!!!, I highly recommend it... or especially recommend for ELP the new one or Masters from the Vaults to see a new fresh hungry (and on good terms at the time hahahha) ELP touring on support of their debut album (RONDO....RONDO... Try to get the 90 minutes version of Pictures At An Exhibition by ELP, taken from the Japanese laser-disc version, it contains 30+ minutes including some 'Hammond wrestling' from Keith Emerson with his Hammond L100, great stage antics!

Well, atleast I have two of em Pictures is very good except for those collors added by the producer to make a Psychedelic scenario. Rick Wakeman's concert is in Australia and sounds terrible, the narrator is not in the level of David Hemmings. Hope I get the one by Procol Harum, but I think I have enough yes DVD's. Better get them individually, so you can choose the ones you really want, I read Rick is going to recreate Journey next year, so it will be better to wait and Yes has a lot to choose. Hello Ivan. If you got the idea that you are a (prog) rock DVD addict, you should have a look at my collection: after reading your post I started to count, almost 200 and this within 4 years! Perhaps 75% is progrock, including lots of rare footage that has been downloaded from Internet by friends who are specialized in doing this. My most precious DVD footage is from Japan, I bought a live concert by Gerard and a compilation featuring bands like Outer Limits, Mugen and Social Tension. But one of the most compelling DVD's is from your country: Alturas De Macchu Picchu by Los Jaivas, what a mindblowing music and enviroment! THE DVD IS THE MOST WONDERFUL INVENTION OF THE LAST 50 YERAS BECAUSE IT GIVES AN EXTRA DIMENSION WHEN YOU EXPERIENCE MUSIC! |

One of the best DVDs I have and the most original and amazing is Magma's Theusz Hamtaahk Trilogie au Trianon release. All I can say is wow!!! These guys are seriously entertaining and what musicians. What sets this dvd apart from excellent releases like Gentle Giants Giant on the Box, my second favorite release, is the originality. It's an experience like no other. You must see it too believe it!!!!

Bluetailfly: I heard about this DVD, but if it's as the Greatest Progressive Album Ever, well, better get the originals, because normally this compilations don't satisfy . Anyway I noticed I have around 100 DVD's, this is an addiction, this are the ones I remember at the moment DVD LIST
And probably 10 more I can’t remember.

Has anyone seen the four DVD set called something like The Greatest Prog DVD Collection or something like that, and it has ELP "Pictures", Wakeman "Journey", Procol Harem doing something and some other band. Does any one know what I'm talking about? And if so, is it any good? |

I recently bought a Caravan dvd. Not very impressive, but with Nine Feet Underground to start with one cannot complain.

Just wondering:
Is there any live concert footage of Hatfield & The North with Dave Stewart behind the keys? A DVD perhaps? That would have been swell! |

oh man Erik you aren't kidding... the cost of the DVD is covered by those two incredible 'Pooneil' performances. I drool at Jack Casady's bass solo on the Ballad of You & Me and Pooneil. slapping that in the player now.. .I haven't watched that in awhile. ![]() |

Marco Minnemann "Extreme Independence" Okay, I know this is a drum instructional video, but just play it with the Performance Only option selected. Wow! His prog is amazing and the fusion he plays with Wolfgang Schmidt is stunning.
