Dave Davies?  It's good to hear he was well enough to record.
Trust me. I know what I'm doing.

Yep, and he'd probably handle countdown duties as well.

He almost got Robert Fripp too: The original Shatner album is now an industry classic; and may we note Mr. Shatner’s sense of humour. A few months ago, when Shatner II was being pIanned, I was approached and invited to be involved, but gratefully and respectfully declined.

I am confident this album will be one of the greatest albums of all time.

This.

If this album doesn't make it to the top 10 in PA as soon as it's out, I'm leaving and forming my own music website...

And Adrian Belew!

Speaking of which, I want to hear Shatner cover "Indiscipline".

You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

If you haven't already checked out Shatner's previous album "Has Been", do yourself a favour and do so. Just don't expect the far-out theatrics of The Transformed Man. Has Been is actually very, very good and features musicians such as Ben Folds, Henry Rollins and Joe Jackson.

The album is mostly original material, with the exception of an amazing cover of Pulp's Common People. A quick search on You Tube will turn up an terrific live performance of this (from Leno's Tonight Show, I think) where Shatner, Folds, and Jackson really rock it out. Fantastic. Best among the original tracks are You'll Have Time (my selected "funeral" song), I Can't Get Behind That (duet with Rollins), and Real.

The only thing that worries me about the new album is the fact that it looks as if its featuring all cover versions.
