I#m from God's country....Scotland.

Theres a joke that goes, God turned to St Peter and said i'm going to create a land of beauty, with lovely green forests, superb mountains, inland waters aplenty and  a lovely and friendly people. This land shall be my greatest ever work. St Peter turns to God and says " surely that isn't fair". God replies "wait until you see the neighbours i''m gonna give them".

It looks nice hear, nice "seasonal" weather, but the fact that nobody cares about Indiana (we've been millions of dollars in debt for years and no one's noticed) and that I hate farms and farm machinery, and that I don't like wide open spaces, or country music, or the movie "Hoosiers" and that this state is a predominantly Republican one (that means Bush stops here so say hi to some old ladies and farmers he refers to as "folks from the Heartland")

I want to live in England or some, mid-European country. Maybe in the Alps. Switzerland i might like.

Be thankful you don't live in Indiana.

Haha, I grew up in Indiana (Connersville), so I know what you're saying. If anything, it's even worse in the southern half of the state, which is where I'm from. Now I live in northwest IL, and while it is not exactly Culture Central, it seems like a different country, ideologically and philosophically, compared to southern IN.

I have friends from Indiana.  One lives in Indy, in Zionsville and the other lives in the south in Nashville, Brown County.  It always struck me as a nice place, if a little conservative!!

I live at Kerava, which is a some kind of joke among finns.

Cologne, you must smell rather nice then

I'm not familiar with the perfume, but I truly liked the city! There's a big convention hall which was the reason I got there. I must admit that I found the old cathedral, museums and restaurant much more interesting. There was a nice restaurant at the riverside, which served medieval dishes. Pork with raw carrots and applejam. Yum!

Ampang, Selangor, just outside the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur ... but I've moved house 27 times in my 32 years ... and have also lived in

Moscow (then the USSR), Tokyo (Japan), Vientiane (Laos), Brussels (Belgium), Bangkok (Thailand), Blacksburg, VA (USA), Bamako (Mali) and Dakar (Senegal) ...

"Death to Utopia! Death to faith! Death to love! Death to hope?" thunders the 20th century. "Surrender, you pathetic dreamer.”

"No" replies the unhumbled optimist "You are only the present."

I come fron rural Herefordshire, on the welsh border...

....believe me, NOTHING ever happens here!

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson
