I started listening to Prog at the age of 13/14... I just completed 19 last month. However, I'm SURE (not a doubt about it) that teenagers like I was represent something between 2 to 5% of the world's population now !! This is a very sad fact, but the truth... teenagers that listen to current musical pieces of crap would never take a listen to Prog, and even if they did, they surely wouldn't like it... Unhappy

I don't understand the question, what does age have to do with enjoying great music?

Oh, that's right... Nothing.

I enjoyed early Genesis when I was a teen. But now that I'm an adult, I can't stand Genesis.

I'm 17 and I listen to progressive rock. :P selling England by the pound is one of my favorite albums too.

The music on the radio these days is 95% ....well...not good. Haha.

Yes. I started properly listening to early genesis when I was about 13 and was familiar with some of their songs, The Return Of The Giant Hogweed for instance, well before that.

Can old people appreciate Nate Dog or Slipknot seems to be the the real question.
