That surprised me too. Apparently the broadcasting rights are different for radio to those for video.

So sad to hear people talking about older or non-mainstream music with that "what the f**k is this?" attitude... But even so the BBC are doing a good thing for classic rock and prog. |

This might be of interest to some in the UK.
The Music Group on Radio Four asks people to talk about the songs that are important to them. A former soldier talks about the effect hearing Pink Floyd's The Great Gig in the Sky had on him while serving in Afghanistan. I found it fascinating listening: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00scjx4/The_Music_Group_Series_4_Episode_6/ The Floyd part starts about 20 minutes in if you want to skip bloody Snow Patrol.
