No son of mine, fading lights, and home by the sea were the only ones I really find to be worth listening to. Hacket was there main prog influence. Without him genesis just wasn't quite the same and really not as good in my opinion.

No Order
  • You Might Recall
  • Burning Rope
  • Me & Sarah Jane
  • Dodo/Lurker
  • It's Gonna Get Better
  • Keep It Dark
  • Duchess
  • Evidence of Autumn
  • Throwing it All Away
  • The Lady Lies

You Might Recall and Evidence of Autumn really should've been on their albums. You Might Recall is probably in my top 10 favorite all time Genesis songs.

Well most likely all 10 tracks would come from either ATTWT and Duke, but I'll exclude directly Follow You, Turn It OFF Again, Misunderstanding. So I'll exclude these two albums.....

...........and concentrate on other later albums.... and that's where it gets difficult if not impossible to find 10 of them

in no particular order (escept maybe chronological)

Abacab
Mama
Home By The Sea/Second Home
That's All >> cool pop song
Land Of Confusion >> cool pop song

and..... that's it

(nothing from We Can't and I don't remember CAS enough anymore)

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

I love it, but there's so much to love Wink , even post Hackett.

If you want some proof of my love: I like the contrast between the depressed verses and the suddenly hopeful verses, which die down at the end.
I get shivers down the spine with some of the lines in the choruses ("There were kings"... and "If there's a fire...")
Wonderful song, but, as I said... they still had a lot of good stuff when they were a trio.
