It can't be Page's and Plant's favourite Zepp album with no reason...

is it their favourite album? Shocked I think it's easily their weakest, except for Achilles and Nobody's fault but mine, the other songs don't do much for me. I even prefer In through the out door.

well the songs might not do much for you - but they were really fond of those fun stuff. and also that's the album showing them at their best regarding playing & singing abilities.

Interesting the results, even if Rush is wining by a good margin, still Zep has received 13 votes.

I only really like very early Led Zeppelin.  Don't really go for any later stuff at all.

I love most of Rush.

2112 is one of my favourite Rush albums, and the title track is absolutely outstanding.

No surprise then that Rush win by several parsecs.

^I consider Presence to be different, I divide Zep in 2 eras(or maybe 3). The 1st era has Zep's I, II and III, which this is my fave era, with a more heavy blues oriented. While the 2nd era starts to develop in a more hard rock sound, which from Zep's isn't my fave.

I'll vote Zep, but Presence in its time was a huge disappointment for me.  I had hoped for better from them, but it was not to be.

"2112" in my opinion is one of the Rush tracks I truly enjoy, containing the use of reocurring themes and interesting lyrics based on one of my favorite books. "Achilles Last Stand" was a dissapointment to me, because I assumed because it was a long song it must have been good, but it didn't prove to be much more than a long song.

I don't expect Achilles to stand a chance.

As much as I love Zeppelin I had to vote for Rush this time. Achilles last stand is great but not as much as 2112 in my opinion. The only criticism I would do to 2112 is Geddy's voice wich gets annoying at some points, although I got used to it by now, but I still prefer his later voice. Even thoug Plant sings very high too, his voice rarely gets annoying.

In the end the love you take is equal to the love you made...
