I would have to pick "Arriving UFO" by Yes.

Every time I hear it I cannot get over how cheesy and awful it is (considering that the same band had done Awaken a year earlier), but I still listen to it on a regular basis and can't help but smile.
That one, but even worse the Circus thing from the same album.
Prog is whatevey you want it to be. So dont diss other peoples prog, and they wont diss yours

Um...Jeff Wayne I guess. Oh, and, Angra's cover of Kate Bush's "Wuthering Heights."

Also Rainbow. I have an odd suspicion that anything with Dio would be considered a guilty pleasure.

For me, these 3 bands represent my idea of a "guilty pleasure" in that they don't readily come to me as prog, per se, but are in the prog camp for sure. They are, The Allan Parson's Project, Supertramp and Ambrosia. I unabashedly love these bands, but would shudder to share that fact at a KC convention or Opeth backstage get-together... But there it is...

Who Dunnit? - Genesis (Wos it choo or wos it me? or Wos it it 'e or she?)
Tonight, Tonight, Tonight - Genesis
Vapor Trails (Yes, the whole album) - Rush

There are more which I know I shouldn't like but I still do.

Kate Bush is in Prog-Related, and as far as I am concerned she could very well be placed in a fully prog category. As to the notion of 'guilty pleasures', it's something I don't buy into at all. I like what I like, and if someone doesn't agree with that, they can turn the other way (and this is an understatement, just to be politeWink).

Ah, I didn't know that, don't delve into that category very often. I agree that she could fall into the prog category. Wink

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson
