Zeuhl bass

   I used to play my bass through a Boss Heavy Metal pedal. I hadn't heard any Zeuhl at the time but looking back the sound was pretty close.

	Jannick Top used Gallien Krueger amps for distortion, and a bass tuned C-G-D-A for extra lowness. Gallien Krueger now makes a bass distortion pedal, which I use and recommend, and if you mess with it you can get very Magma-like distortion.
