This has been "officially denied" on the PT forum by the forum Admin guy Simon who also produces the PT Fanzine. When I say "official" I mean that he has the band's ear so to speak.

Typical official denial until an official announcement is made to substanitate the rumor? ![Embarrassed](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley9.gif)

I did, as I thought that Gavin Harrison was one of the few current British drummers who is good enough to play for King Crimson and given that both Robert Fripp and Adrian Belew have both worked with PT they'd both be well aware of his talents.

The drama continues. Trilok Gurtu. Now that would be interesting except he would blow Pat away.

I am happy to hear they are heading towards a new album/tour. I would die to see them live.

In a different interview, Pat stated that the new percussionist is British.
That rules out Jerry Marotta and Eric Slick. I'm baffled.

I listen to live KC more than studio KC as well, but to say that they haven't returned to the mellotron is factually inaccurate.
