I think that ELP is my favorite band in life... No one comes close to their talent or stage presence. They are so missed.... |

Do I really have to answer that question Snowwie. Ok, I don't like the piano parts, I don't like the songwriting, I don't like the production of the albums, Lake has got a good voice, but is totally blown away by the instrumentation. The only good thing about ELP is, they where popular before I was born, so I hardly ever hear it on the radio, except for Lucky man and Peter Gunn, which I both enjoy BTW. |

Snow Dog: The thread has been moved because it is clearly no longer about it's title subject: ELP. It has now (like so many others) devolved into a series of personal tete-a-tetes and tit-for-tats of a personal nature. If and when the participants choose to go back "on topic" - and note that I am not suggesting, much less requiring, that you do so - then I will return it to "Main Discussions." Peace. |

The Collaborators vote weekly on who the biggest turd in the sewer is and if you get most votes you get a 0 rating, two zero ratings in any three week period sees you out on your backside in disgrace and seeing as Mr Heath is a member of the Collaborators forum you're dead meat boyo. |

I am so tired of them I think I'll burn their cds. Thanks for ruining a band I used to like KE9. Well if your prepared to burn all you ELP CD's over threads then you never really liked them very much in the first placed..How the hell can you be put off a band like that just by threads??? Well then i'll thread Van der graaf to death then..Will you burn you VDGG CD's after that ...I think not some how Living sin

That's a pity but I hope you are joking about burning the CD's.At least put them into a bargain basement CD shop(or whatever) and get a few quid back.If you've got any of the original Atlantic pressings I would be interested in buying them off you myself. BTW I'm not happy about the amount of threads devoted to ELP although I'm partly to blame admittedly.I don't want anyone to be put off listening to ELP because of the saturation coverage they are getting at the moment.Maybe the moderators can do something to limit the number of threads on one band.Is that possible?
