Which is why Association Football is the more played, wider played, more watched, most popular, World Sport?
|
Because all you need is a ball and a field and little in the way of equipment. Much cheaper. Also, it's too hot to play American football in a lot of places with all that equipment on. So not a fair comparison. Football (not soccer), then baseball and hockey.

I was born a racer, and I shall die a racer!
Yeah, yeah I know...Racing, it's just a bunch of greasy hairy Americans covered in oil. Don't think of it that way, I've been a racer for five years and everybody is friendly, they don't hold set-up information or anything like that (Of course you get one or two bad apples...) and the whole greasy guy playing with a car stereotype should be thrown out the window because I met my beautiful girlfriend at the race-track
So, uhh, there you go!

Cricket (actually requires skill in all areas opposed to just one or two aspects, it’s the one sport where it pays off to be intelligent)
Australian Rules Football makes all other sports look piss-weak. Makes soccer look like a game played by 6 year olds.

Baseball is fine but it's not exclusively American (from the USA, I mean)! It's played intensely in all the Americas and many countries in Asia, from where many great players came, no?
