I highly doubt Dream Theater would approve of that.

Dream Theater have become caricatures of themselves. Much as this Dream Theater poll has become a caricature of other Dream Theater polls.  Want me to ellaborate? No, I don't want to.

I'm tired of polls about DT polls...

You have to give up... DT is one of the most popular bads out there... We have many new members each week... some of them are DT fans... when you're new, you love to create polls, say, as to see where you're standing compared to other members.... ERGO, some new DT polls will appear every week....

At least DT polls are created by a multitude of members... Now Jethro Tull polls, I'd say every one of the 15768 of them have been created by the SAME member...LOL (who would that be...Wink

Maybe if every single thread that so much as mentions DT wasn't filled with DT-fanboy rants like this, we wouldn't mind the DT fanboys so much.  Wink

RIght on dude! Not enough Tull polls, really!

I recall once I did a poll that went: How much does Close to the Edge suck?

A lot.
A WHOLE lot.
Whole Lotta Suckin'
A little, but I've only heard it once
I use it as a coaster

Wonder what happened to that...?

You should have to do that for reviving one of these DT polls.

That should be the mandatory punishment for an offense such as this.

I rush home from work every night 'cause I can't wait to read all the DT polls and find out if they beat Rhapsody, or Nightwish, or Triumph or something. It's the highlight of my day.

Please don't take my DT polls away!

Is it just me or are the poll choices a little biased?

Big smile Anyway, here's the proverbial "ten foot Pole," to send us all off to bed with a good book:

"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.

The problem with most polls is that they are inevitable meaningless.

ussualy it's comparing apples with strawberries, oranges, lemons and lions.

too many choices, which share no common ground.

not always it's the poll that makes it meaningless, it's the participants that stray away from the topic subject rendering the poll meaningless. When the poll's subject is which DT album is the best, why should people not liking DT participate in such a poll
since they don't like DT who cares about their opinion regarding DT's bets album.

Let people who like DT use such a poll for what it is for, helping people not knowing the band make a good choice in what album they should start listening too in order to helpo them decide whether they like the band or not.

anyway something like that.

I RARELY look at the music polls any more.

Just constantly re-post the first few pages of the section every month or so -- no one will ever notice....Stern Smile
