Sorry - I got confused, because there are various other threads where you appear to be advocating music theft.
You really should read some of the reviews here - a lot of them are excellent - MUCH better than fanboy type sites. While there is an element of fanboyism in some reviews, that can hardly be helped when people write passionately about music.
I would point you to the reviews of Peter Rideout, Maani and James Lee especially - although I'd have to apologise to the literally hundreds of great reviewers that I don't have space to name.
Even if they don't make you buy the albums, they're very well written, well informed and offer intriguing personal insights.

I think the thread is great.
There is only one flaw that I can pick out.

What is your favourite review that you wrote. Mine is Heavy Horses . I very much enjoy reading reviews and some of them have changed my attitudes towards certain bands which I previosly did not care for. |
My reviews are not something to remember cos' my english is veru poor, but I really enjoy to write about my favourite albums and compare what I write with other reviews, specially the ones wrote by the specialists and reviewers... I agree with you that some reviews have changed my points of view towards many bands that I don't like before I've become a ProgArchives fan... (Examples: Tool, Cherry Five and Kansas) Peace and love.-.-.-.-.-

I like it. It tells me what I want know, and it is interesting. You do a good job of being objective, while still including your personal feelings.

Istarted this thread with
good intentions and some of you guys just didn`t get it. I`ll listen to
anyone`s opinion on an album whether it be bad good impartial or
whatever. There is no reason for anger here we are all in the same boat
, fans of a unique musical style. I would suggest that those who have
negativity in their lives to grow up and lighten up.Thanks Easy Livin
for the comment.

So, rudely criticizing people for their work is about being an independant individual while you haven't done anything, while actually doing some work yourself makes you a conceited sheep? That sounds like disrespect to me. I suggest you stay away from this thread until you recover from your Premenstrual stress syndrome, spacecraft.
