Maybe it's simply down to which you tasted first. I was brought up
on wine and cider. They say beer is an acquired taste. Maybe I never
bothered acquiring myself to it properly.
Any cider drinkers here? |
My wife is a huge cider fan.

Yes, I - though I come from a country where cider was unknown up to a few years ago. Now you can find it rather easily in pubs, though it's not always the best quality. I love both English and French cider, while Finnish cider is way too sweet (they probably put sugar in it, which is not a good idea ). Unfortunately, at the moment it's too hot to even think about drinking anything remotely alcoholic...

You're the first person to ask me about my Portuguese emblem. Well, I'm half-Portugese (my mom is from Portugal), also I'm for Portugal in the World Cup so I thought I would show my pride. I don't think they will win the Cup, but will be rooting for them anyway.

Beer. Especially brown ale, pale ale, german weiss bier and hefeweizen, and an array of Belgian abbys whatever I may find when I go abroad, because in my country there is not developed a culture of beer. We produce only light lager, and mostly poor quality.
Wine is fine, especially red I like.

If you want attention, give Hemispheres by Rush one star or make offenses against beer drinkers ("sleazy metalheads"), again somebody succeeded to feel fine by giving negative attention .. this regressive behaviour enters more and more this site, shall we act together by ignoring ridiculous posts (if these don't are hidden parodies or cynism ) ?

Beer. I like wine, but I just prefer beer. Beer also goes better with curry and chinese; fish and chips; steak pie and gravy; Mexican or chilli. Wine goes better with French cuisine; subtle Italian flavours; cheese and biscuits. Heck, guess I'm just a slob at heart.
And of my two favourite keyboardists, Wakeman is - or was - a beer man, Emerson went for wine, so er...hic.....
