A theory which you keep proving over and over again....

And gdub, both my father and I thought the "old hag" could be Thatcher as well. According to threefates' second link, the two women mentioned are in fact Thatcher and Whitehouse.

Thanks guys.

Whitehouse was a pariah of the UK artistic fraternity and was often seen with large signs sticking out the back of her dress.

woo frenchie saves the day

to be fair the lyrical content can delve into politics and social character but all this margret thatcher stuff is a little far, and i'm a guy who would willingly spend hours deciphering lyrics and what not. like deloused in the comatorium by the mars volta. its worth it in the end and you learn so much.

anyway. three different ones= three different pigs to the three little pigs that are famous.

I'd never made the connection between "Three Little Pigs" and "Three Different Ones" before. I feel silly for not thinking of that.

I can remember paying for school milk since I was a wee little kindergartener..I believe it was 3 cents at the time.Early 70's!!

Leave it to you Brits to get your panties in a bundle for not getting a free hand out.

Don't talk rubbish you impudent oaf. Thatcher was not a big player in Brit Politics until her surprise election to Leader Of The Fascists. She was notorious for endingfree school milk but you are putting 2 and 2 together and getting 9 3/4!Smile
